This example golfing tour for ladies is presented to whet your appetite - there are many more to choose from, but how does this one seem to you to begin with?

Day 1, Meet and Greet at Shannon Airport, Plus Your First Round!

You will arrive at Shannon Airport and our experienced private chauffeur and guide will meet and greet you, and check everything is in order before departure for your hotel by luxury vehicle. Within a couple of hours, you will have checked-in at the Park Hotel, Kenmare, for the first part of your stay, which offers 5* luxury throughout. For the latter part of your vacation you will stay at the 5* Doonbeg Lodge and Golf Club on the west coast in County Clare.

Once checked-in, your chauffeur will take you to Killarney Golf and Fishing Club. This is your first famous course, not least it is where the 2010 Irish Open was staged. You will have the opportunity to play on the flagship Killeen course and tread in the footsteps of many great golfers. This is a challenging course with many beautiful lake views. Your tour has begun at one very special golfing venue so you can create your first wonderful memories.

Day 2, Waterville and Spa

Today, your chauffeur will ease you effortlessly to the golf links at Waterville. Being almost surrounded by the sea, it is rated as one of the top five courses in Ireland and in the top 20 links courses in the World. For more than a century, these spectacular links have been honed to perfection and been played by countless professionals from around the world. Now it's your turn.

Following your morning round and refreshments, it's time for you to relax and have some much-deserved pampering. Your chauffeur will return you to your hotel where you'll be able to relax and rejuvenate your body and your mind with a unique spa experience. This is the time to indulge yourself. Enjoy every moment.

Day 3, Tralee and Spa

In less than an hour, your chauffeur will drive you to Tralee Golf Club where every hole is within sight of the Atlantic. You would expect the perfect golf course when you know it was designed and constructed by none other than the great Arnold Palmer. He designed everything into this course and it is why it's one of the finest and most challenging in Ireland. It's simply beautiful.

And rather like yesterday, your afternoon will be devoted to helping you relax and ease-away all the stresses through a carefully selected spa treatment that is exactly right for you. Of course, you'll be surrounded by elegance and beauty as you experience what only 5* spa treatment can provide.

Day 4, Gourmet Cookery and Dooks

A morning with a 'tasty' difference. Ireland has an enviable reputation for gourmet cooking and you will have the opportunity to see a top chef in action at his purpose-built cookery school. Watch a Master Chef at his craft, and discover the secrets to creating sumptuously delicious food. Ask those questions you may have sought answers to for years - benefit from your host's vast 5* experience.

And when your ready, your chauffeur will take you to Dooks Golf Club set amid the clear blue waters of Dingle Bay, surrounded by the Slieve Mist range, the Dingle Mountains and the Mcgillycuddy's Reeks. Gentle winds blow here yet this links course presents unique challenges of narrow genuine sandy fairways and beautifully contoured greens.

Day 5, Ballybunion

Just about an hour away from you hotel, your chauffeur will take you to north County Kerry to Ballybunion Golf Course. Masters of golf from around the world have played this most notable of courses - and it's even been played by world leaders included former US President Bill Clinton. The Atlantic views are breathtaking. Careless play will be punished you on this course yet it's a wonderful and fair challenge from start to finish.

Day 6, Lahinch

From your hotel, your chauffeur will take you to the old course at the Lahinch Golf Club. It is said to be, 'An Irish treasure loved by pros and amateurs alike'. A traditional out-and-back links course, it is a true classic and one you are sure to savour every minute. And it's not just the dunes that can present challenges here… the remains of Dough Castle presents an obstacle like no other!

Your afternoon will take you on a sightseeing tour of the region. Your chauffeur will take you on what is a firm favourite with visitors and that is to the Cliffs of Moher that stand some 700 feet above sea level. Near here, you will pass through The Burren; a fascinating region of some 100 square miles of limestone rock with some spectacular views. This protected area is a unique and almost mystical landscape, and when you see it, you'll know exactly why.

Day 7, Doonbeg and Spa

Today, you will have an experience of a lifetime as you finally get to play the links at Doonbeg. Designed by Greg Norman and officially opened in 2002, it instantly became a 5* resort and recognised as the 'Best New International Course'. The course follows the crescent-shaped beach for over a mile and with centuries old dunes to contend with, this is a course not to be hurried. This is Irish golf at its very best. Take home special memories from Doonbeg and a pleasing scorecard. You deserve nothing less.

And to complete your day, your Doonbeg luxury spa awaits. Have your senses awakened. Feel your vitality, wellness and relaxation deep within you. Lie in the comfort and certain knowledge that your body and mind are in perfect harmony. This is the time for you - nothing else matters.

Day 8, Homeward Bound

All too soon, our time together has quickly come to an end and it's here we say 'slan abhile' (safe home). Your chauffeur will easily transfer you from Doonbeg Lodge and Golf Club to Shannon Airport and we hope you will take away many fond memories, excellent scorecards and photographs of your special golfing vacation and share them with your family and friends. Your golfing tour will be 8 days (7nights) long. You will be met at Shannon Airport by your private chauffeur who will take care of your every need.
